Restaurant is located inside Ala Moana Hotel on the 36th floor. Dress code is a must at this place, just no tanks or flip flops. Came here with my family. Parking it's better to park in the Valet flat rate of $6. As you walk in there's a red carpet on the right side of the elevators specifically for Signature Prime. The service was impeccable, my kids loved their view and eating by the window and having the view of the city and Diamond Head. Food was amazing, the service was great and they always checked on our table constantly making sure we were okay. Be Prepared to spend money for sure since it is Ala Carte.
We came for happy hour. There are no reservations so I would suggest coming right when they open at 4:30pm if you want to be seated for happy hour. It was so busy and crowded on a Tuesday but they sat us at a table and we had a great time. The happy hour menu is large and everything is half price. The drinks are also good and very strong. Our waiter was amazing and the view was beautiful. It was a really nice time and I would come back again. The garlic truffle fries were so delicious and the 12oz ribeye we ordered was cut into shareable pieces for us. Those were the best. But everything else we had was delicious as well.
Wowowowow where do I start!? Loooove this place, the classic ambiance, quality food, and that view. Went here for happy hour! We got in line around 4:15 pm ish. The line starts downstairs at the lobby Once it's your turn to go up, you'll immediately notice the view after coming out of the elevator. Depending on who you get, service is 5 stars and on point. Bartenders are helpful as well and can make sound recommendations. Ah don't forget to catch the sunset as well! It's beautiful and dreamy Food! -Definitely get the cheeseburger, it's so deliciously caramelized -Sizzling steak on hot stone - awesome experience and yums -Get there early to get the steaks as well like the wagyu beef and rib eye -Fried oysters wow so fresh -You have to get the hamachi kama melts in your mouth -Softshell crab: so good! -California rolls: delicious and fresh -Truffle fries: who doesn't like that Cheers!
On top of the Ala Moana hotel is an excellent steakhouse with amazing views of Waikiki. Sunsets are the best time. The Service is as "Aloha" as you get in Hawaii! A great time from the host to the service team making dinner and relaxing experience. The food was great. I judge a steakhouse on their ability to cook steaks to the customer's temperature preference and this place got it right! The right amount of fine dinning cuisine in an elegant but comfortable setting showcasing the Aloha spirit. Highly recommended over the other chain steakhouses.
This time around it was spectacular! Tian (host) recognized our faces and greeted us with a smile and had us seated immediately. Wonderful hospitality. This time we opted for even more as we loved their potato au gratin and ribeye steak! We also added the garlic truffle oil fries and dozen of oyster. Definitely a treat for a special night! Special shoutout for the lilikoi crème brûlée which is so creamy, subtle sweet with a nice crunchy top. Our server Norman (I think) was very prompt with making sure we received all our food in a timely manner and was willing to always check for our order. Awesome customer service this time around and ambiance is always luxury and fine dining. It's always great during happy hour!
First time here and I loved it. Food amazing, ambiance perfect, plus evening city views. Staff is great and really patient when my little one kept blowing out the candle on the table. Food is yummy too. Loved the lobster Mac and cheese. Also got the beef carpaccio but forgot how salty capers are. Hubby got the chicken jidori and I got the seared ahi. Creme brûlée is very good. You're probably thinking Who goes to a steakhouse and not order steak? That would be me and my husband. But all the more reason to go back and try other options.
It was a surprise birthday dinner and although all the guests were already seated, we had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated, which meant the guests were waiting for 30 minutes. This is why I give Signature only 4 stars. My first impression at that point was not good. I never saw any of the host staff smile. What was lacking with the host staff was surely made up for by the servers. Our waiter was Donovan. He was EXCELLENT, professional, and guided us in selecting the best dishes. The way he described the dishes was orgasmic! He definitely knows the menu, including the ingredients. I'm sure he could have listed the nutritional values, as well. He absolutely made the evening so memorable and fun. So much so that we closed the restaurant. The other staff were excellent, too. Table service overall was impressive (with the exception of the front staff however). Everything we selected was excellent. The miso butterfish was tender, as was the steak. The asparagus, mashed potatoes, etc were nice compliments to the entree. The desserts were lovely; not too sweet. Presentation of the foods were beautiful. Illy coffee is the absolute best. The ambiance was lovely, but it was a bit difficult to read the menu because the back area was dim, with only a small candle of light. Our trusty cell phones helped. Validated parking was $6. Price point was consistent with the service and delicious quality food. It's always good to support local businesses. You must ask for Donovan to be your server. He impressed us with his professionalism, and add laughter to the mix with great food, you've got yourself a memorable event. We plan on returning again, but only if we could have Donovan and his team again to make more magical memories. We are Team Donovan lifers.
